All Servers New Premium Items Added Upper Headgears Wolf Ears Jolly Roger Beanie Dark Magician's Hat Rasta Cap Middle Headgears Cute Blue Ribbons Cute Red Ribbons Star Wings The new items have been added to the Dressing Room NPCs on Loki and Eir for your convenience. These items are permanent, not limited. Pet Egg Changes If you are overweight or have 100 items in your inventory and attempt to return your pet back to its egg, it will be deleted instead of dropping to the floor. We are doing this due to a small minority abusing how Eggs work to profit off events and account bound items. If you lose your egg because of this, GMs will not assist you in replacing it. Dewata Update Quests have been fixed and updated. Additionally, new NPCs and shops have been added. Please report any bugs. Easter Update Eggy in Geffen (122,111) is now useable by players. The Easter Event is over, the NPC exists only for prize redemption and duplicate exchange. If you do not have enough Egg Shells to exchange for a prize, they will be deleted after the event. Some client files - mainly those that show item names and sprites - have been updated. Please use the Bug Tracker on the forums to let us know if there are any errors. Mining Pickaxe and Sturdy Mining Pickaxe's slots have been removed So Prontera may have gone back to normal. Maybe? Maybe even 3rd job palettes have been added too! Who knows~ Eir Upper Donates that incorrectly gave more than 3 defense have been fixed. Wandering Minstrel Hat has had its level requirement eliminated. THQ Mjolnir is now breakable. Pancakes NPC will correctly give 3 Speed Potions when they are won. Loki Custom Episode Update - I.ii Rambunctious Ruins Two new field maps have been implemented east of Faroe Island 04. These are Rosaceae Pass (gef_fild01p) and Knocknarea Heights (gef_fild02p). Faroe Island 03 has been renamed Faroe Island Outpost. A new dungeon, the Nightmare Pyramids, has been added. It is made of two levels and located on far_isld03. Two quests will need to be completed before gaining full access to the dungeon. Beware, the second floor has PvP mode engaged. Six new mobs may be found within the dungeon, along with one new MvP - Nightmare Amon Ra. Three new mobs may be found in the Geffenia fields. 5 new quests have been added. These may be found in the existing maps as well as the new maps. One of the new quests will also give you access to the teleporting system for the Custom Episode maps. This system demands that you must visit the teleport location and activate the Orb before being able to warp there. You may also warp around Glastheim after finishing this quest for quicker movement. Quest List: The Nightmare Within - Entry quest to Nightmare Pyramids and teleportation system A Hidden Past - Entry to second level of Nightmare Pyramids Curse of the Pharaoh King - Multiple rewards The Cure - Headgear (Made by Oasis) Secret of the Tears - Headgear (Made by Oasis) Approximately 35 new items have been added as drops from mobs and rewards for quests. Skill Update The custom skill - Tarot Card of Hope - for Bards and Dancers has been implemented. This is part of the Reputation Quest-line and will require a certain amount of Fame before you may start the quest. The quest may be started in Comodo. The skill works by activating randomly when you are hit (magic and misc attacks will also activate the skill) which will cast a random effect. These effects may be found by collecting Tarot Cards throughout the world. Two are given to you when you unlock the skill. Not all Tarot Cards are implemented, but will be implemented steadily over time. If you lose the skill, the Platinum Skill NPC in Morocc will restore it for you. A new status effect called Burning has been implemented. It is based off the official Burning status effect with some differences. It will reduce HP by 1000 + 3% of your max HP every 3 seconds, make you Fire element level 1 and will also reduce Mdef by 25%. You will not be able to move or use skills when burnt, nor will you be able to be frozen or stoned. You will be immune to Burning if you are stood in Deluge or Water Escape Technique. To cure Burning, you may have a professor cast a Deluge on you. Bosses are immune to Burning. A bug has been fixed with both Mossy Golem card and the Polished Shield where neither effect would activate when being attacked. Leak and Scaraba Hole mobs have had their defence and magic defence values fixed. Siege gear may now be equipped by the classes the gear states may equip it. Niamh will now recolour ribbons. Hint: it will be towards the start of the week. Henrith will now accept Red Petals instead of a Mermaid card for The Morocc Traveler quest in Glastheim. Bat Teeth Katar will now fully immunize you from all soul links. Aura packs will now work correctly. Item changes Skoll Card has been given the following effect: "Has a chance to inflict Burning on your target when attacking. Duration of Burning is random but will increase with refine rate. Increases ATK by 10%." Siege Boots will now only be equippable by Swordsman, Merchant, Archer, Thief, Taekwon, Star Gladiator, Gunslinger and Ninja classes. Siege Muffler can now be equipped by novices. This is to reflect their official status. Firestorm's chance of casting Meteor Storm has increased slightly. Inventor Jakk's Longbow has been made unbreakable and unstripable. Mermaid Card has had the -7% less damage with wind removed from it. Valkyrian Breastplate is now unbreakable and will provide a 10% chance to avoid a short-range weapon attack for all other classes not stated on its description. It has been made wearable by Novices. Cowring Card and other -ring cards should now give the overall proper attack for long-ranged weapons. Skill changes Desperado has been made uncastable within range of a warp portal. The range depends on what level of Desperado you use. Tyr Four Leaf Clover has had its defense reduced from 3 to 1. Valkyrie Armor has been added to the Apprentice Craftsman. Eir & Tyr Special Dye Exchanger has been added to Prontera. (148,212) The NPC will take two of the same color and give you one color of your choosing. Please read the NPC carefully for more information Item Slot Count Changes: Bombring Rucksack has had its slot removed. Compounded cards have been placed in your inventory. Water Ball has been disabled on dew_dun01. Treasureberry and Fortis Potestas have been added to the Vote Point Redemption NPC for 100 points each.
