1. Talk to High Priest Zhed inside Rachel Sanctuary (Located at 277, 159), he will ask you who created Ymir's Heart.
- Note: You do not need to type in the write answer. Although, the right answer is Varmunt. If you use the right answer, he will tell you all he knows about him but it will not affect the quest in any way.
2. Talk to the Female Follower, Lamir (Located at 40, 124) on the far left side of the sanctuary temple, next to a bookshelf.
3. Talk to the Guard, Karlum (Located at 87, 133) on the right side of the door; when prompted, type in "Lamir".
4. Down the hall to the right, break the Flower Vase (Located at 115, 140) in the corner to attract the attention of the second guard.
5. Enter the now unguarded room and search a geological report from one of the drawers then quickly escape via the ladder.
- You will obtain a File Folder
6. Go back to High Priest Zhed and tell him what you found. He will then send you away to find a geologist that can help.
7. Go to Veins, and enter a building (Located at 151, 176). Go upstairs and look around but you can't find the Geologist.
8. Go to the tavern (Located at 153, 217), and talk to the Drunken Man in the midst of some highly intellectual discussion with his cohorts. Agree to help him, and he promotes you as his new geological assistant.
- You will obtain a Note of Geologist.
9. Return to his room, search the bookshelf (Located at 280, 212) and the wall closet (Located at 277, 229).
- You will obtain a File Folder and a Broken Thermometer.
10. Go to Thors Volcano F1 and examine the Hot Land Surface (Located at 37, 234).
- Note: You examine it pretty close from the entrance.
11. Go to Thors Volcano F2, and examine the Hot Land Surfaces at (Located at 165, 37) and (Located at 170, 100).
12. After examining the hot magma, enter the secret portal (Located at 143, 78) and walk through the map until you reach the guards at the end. Talk to them, and they'll warp you to the Base Camp.
13. Walk south and talk to Sahedi at (Located at 250, 104), and agree to inspect the camp for signs of impending doom.
14. Walk to Colonel Vito (Located at 194, 220) where you'll be drafted into the anti Rune-Midgard army. You'll be teleported to the training room to the south part of the map.
- Note: Be careful when walking around! If you walk when the dialog pops up, you can be disconnected. The map does not allow you to relog there, and you will end up back at your save point.
15. You'll be asked questions by him and choose Freya for his first question. Then you'll be asked to give an oath. Simply reply the following when prompted:
- as a devoted servant of Goddess Freya
- I pledge my honor to overthrow our mortal enemy
- I will show no mercy
- I shall devote my entire life
- Down with the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom!
Once you complete the oath, speak to him again and he'll send you to investigate some pipes.
- Note: Make sure you type exactly what he says.
16. Find the Control Panel (Located at 109, 167) and check its status. Go back to Colonel Vito and inform him about its status.
17. Talk to Colonel Vito again, and he has you undergo more training by hitting a dummy. Click any dummies around and hit it ten times. Talk to him again and he will tell you that you have completed your rookie training.
18. Walk to (172, 132) and (148, 310) and read the dialogue that pops up there.
- Note: Be careful to not walk over cell and get disconnected.
19. Go back to Sahedi. He will ask for the status of the volcano and he gives you a report to take back to the Geologist.
- You will obtain a File Folder
20. Go back to Veins and enter the pub again. Give the Geologist the file report from Sahedi.
21. Go back to the Geologist's office, and click on the bookshelf (Located at 281, 214). You will receive either:
5 Giggling Box, or 1 Bloody Branch, or 1 Soft Apron, or 1 Steel Arrow Quiver, or 1 Random Quiver
- and
- 80,000,000 (Loki/Tyr) or 4,000,000 Base Experience (Eir)
22. Go back to High Priest Zhed, and tell him what happened. He will reward you with:
- 20,000,000 (Loki/Tyr) or 1,000,000 Base Experience (Eir)
