Instance Overview

  • The Nightmarish Jitterbug instance in RevivalRO involves fighting through a haunted mansion filled with dangerous creatures. Below is a detailed guide on how to complete this instance.
  • Players must navigate through the haunted mansion, facing waves of monsters and culminating in a fight against the Jitterbug.
  • Donates are allowed except Angra Manyu and Ahura Mazdah.
  • Max stat characters are allowed.
  • Must be in a party with 1-6 members
  • Land Protector Skill and Volcano are not allowed

Quest Steps

1. Entering the Mansion:

  • Go to Eden group (@go 39) and head up and enter the portal(41, 52)
  • Speak to Roel to reset your cooldown and gather your party of 1-6 members.
  • Speak to Runane standing besides Roel to initiate and enter the mansion. Only the party leader can initiate the instance.

2. Walkthrough

  • Once inside (Room 1), the party leader will need to talk to a NPC in each room to advance to the next one. If you've already done the instance, choosing the Hurry option will skip the dialogues and use the answers you picked from your previous run.
  • Kill all the mobs in the next room to spawn the next set of NPCs and repeat until you reach room 22.
  • The following rooms require your attention because your answer to the dialogues will spawn extra Jitterbug.

Room 8 Newoz, Lagi, Shalosh Choose 3rd option: "Newoz's Red Potion (feat. Muka)" Spawns 2 Jitterbugs instead of 1 in room 9.
Room 13 Newoz, Miming, Shalosh, ... Choose 2nd option: "She was talking with someone" Spawns 2 Jitterbugs instead of 1 in room 14.
Room 16 Shalosh, Aigu, Runane Choose 3rd option: "We're happy" Spawns 2 Jitterbugs instead of 1 in room 17.
Room 19 Roel and Gelkah Choose 2nd option: "You just made up those words to look cool!" Spawns 2 Jitterbugs instead of 1 in room 20.
Room 20 Everyone Choose 2nd option: "Search alone" Spawns 2 Jitterbugs instead of 0 in room 22.

3. Final Boss - Awakened Jitterbug:

  • At the end of the mansion (room 22), players face the Awakened Jitterbug, a powerful boss with multiple attack phases. It will spam different kind of negative buff as well as weapon/accessory/armors strip and cast Storm Gust every 30 seconds.
  • The boss is known for summoning additional monsters during the fight, minions has to be killed first when Jitterbug becomes invincible.
  • After killing the boss you will be rewaded with 4 pcs. of Dali Shard along with normal drop of the monster, talk to Newoz and your party will be warped to the last room (23).
  • At Room 23, talk to Newoz, again, to open the exit portal.

Tips

    • Use Holy or Neutral vert on Ferre.
    • Use Fire vert on Jitterbug.
    • Use Teddy Baal Card or other items that reduces damage from reflected melee attacks(capped to 50%) if you are using melee attacker character.
    • Use Reraise Potion and bring lots of Yggberry/Seed
    • Jitterbug cast a lot of negative status buff, Gemini Card is recommended.
    • Use Valkyrie Randgris Card to dispel Jitterbug's reflect shield.
    • Always carry Token of Ziegfried with you.
    • Use Unfrozen Armor
    • Collect 50 pcs. of Jitterbug's Tooth drop by Jitterbug and exchange it to Mingmin in Room 23. It can be exchange for a random equipment drop by Jitterbug
