All Servers 2013 Easter Event At 00:00 server time we will be having an Easter Event! During the event, Eggs will spawn all over Midgard for you to try and find! Below is an outline of the event, and any changes that have been made from the 2011 version. You are allowed to look for Eggs with your friends. If you did this in 2011 without abusing the event, good for you. When you speak to an Egg, a dialog box will open. While this is open, your friends will be able to click the egg as well. This is done primarily to encourage teamwork between players as different people look for eggs on different maps. Once everyone in your egg finding party has clicked the egg, someone will close the window and be warped back to their savepoint. After they have been warped, you will only have 5 seconds to close the window before the Egg disappears. If you do not close the window in time, you will not receive your egg points! The 5 second window and warping is done to prevent abuse, but also to let people know who closes a chat, and when. In other words don't be a butthead! As you collect Eggs, you will have the option of returning to Geffen and speaking with the Easter Bunny. Event Points have been removed as a possible prize from this event due to abuse. However, Egg Shells have been added in their place. Egg Shells work much the same way as Carnival Tickets do. You may save them up to purchase event prizes if you aren't lucky enough to get one directly from an Egg. Prizes are random, if you receive a duplicate you will be able to exchange it with Eggy, the Egg sitting beside the Easter Bunny, for 5 Egg Shells each. Please keep in mind that in order to request an exchange, you must have at least two of one of the possible headgear prizes. All four of 2011's prizes are included this year, as well as three new ones. We hope you have fun! Please do not come to Help Desk with questions about the event, or to ask for the location of Eggs. A thread has been created here for you to ask event related questions. Loki A new category of premium items has been added to the Premium Item shop in Prontera: Auras. You may now purchase a headgear - only Lower Aura is available at the minute - which will allow use of Auras. When you purchase the headgear, you will gain six free Auras to choose from, with more purchasable from the shop. To change your Aura, you may speak to the Aura Setter NPC in Prontera, just outside the weapon shop (can't miss him, he's an elephant). Once you unequip your Aura headgear, your Aura will be removed and must be reset with the Aura Setter NPC in Prontera, even if you re-equip the headgear. Auras are disabled in PvP, GvG and BG, but you may still wear the headgear in these environments, they just will not show the Aura. Lower Aura is a lower headgear, gives +15 to all stats and 3 defence. Any purchased Auras are account bound, meaning you may use your Lower Aura on any of your characters. Please note that when going from a higher number aura to a lower number your client may occasionally error. This cannot be fixed and so please do not make any bug reports regarding it. An NPC has been added which will tell you whether or not you are ready to fight Fluffy (the party version). Simply PM NPC:FluffyTimer with anything to check it out. Nobby the Novice Card will correctly double bonuses for novice classes. Thanatos Card and Ice Picks are correctly no longer useable in WoE Second Edition. Glastheim (P) has been added to the Warpra. As always, you must have finished the relevant prerequisite quest to enter. PvP On/Off NPCs for GTs will now work correctly. Guild Points will correctly work in the Halls of Abyss. Four new headgears have been added to the Event Point Redemption shop. They are 10 EPs each. Stalkers will now be unable to copy skills from mobs in order to prevent the copying of skills at a higher level than intended. Item changes: Bat Teeth Katar will now make you unable to be linked, either by a Soul Linker or Fable's Silks. Once you equip the weapon, your link will be removed. It is now a level 3 weapon and its inherent attack has been reduced to 87. It will now only ignore defence of mobs and MvPs, not players. The Cursed Ring and Ring des Nibelungen are now equippable by novice classes. The flee given by Kraken Card has been reduced to 50 and all melee attacks when they land will do 10% more damage to you. Mermaid Card now only gives +5% more damage when using the water element. It will also decrease damage done with the wind element by 7%. Marvin's Mace will now give a maximum +25% damage increase and 65% defence ignore. Eir A warp to Nidhog's Nest has been added to the Warpra. You must have completed the required quests in order to use this feature. Tyr New Premium Items have been added: 12 - Upper Headgears 10 - Middle Headgears 4 - Lower Headgears Changes to existing Premiums: Premium Uppers and Lowers now give 3 Defense. Defense changes to lowers bring them closer to non-premium items, as well as keeping some event and quest items useful. WoE SE Dungeon Access has been added to Tyr. This quest is available to all players. You must do this "quest" each time you wish to enter the dungeon. Quest consists of making 1 Gold Bullion, or paying a 150,000 zeny fee to the NPC that grants access. The NPC responsible for this quest access is named Retired Soldier. Good luck finding him! Hint: In/Near/Around Prontera Item Drops chances have been upped for Notoriety monsters. Eir & Tyr Easter Event Bonus - Eir and Tyr players will also receive Pancakes from Eggs. Beholder Master Card has had it ASPD increased to its previous value. However -- multiple cards will no longer stack ASPD. Agriope has had its spawn number increased from 3 to 6 in the Labyrinth Forest. Tool Dealers have been updated with convenience items with an increased fee. Red Gemstone - 1,500z Yellow Gemstone - 2,100z Medicine Bowl - 10z Empty Test Tube - 10z Empty Potion Bottle - 10z If you don't like the prices, feel free to obtain the items as you did in the past. Rental Items have been added. Rentals are available in the school building, which is located at the southwestern center of Prontera. (136,186) Rentals are rentals, they do not last forever -- they will eventually expire. A topic will be created to discuss the effects of items and any balancing that needs to take place. Please wait until Alkaline has created this thread in a week or so before giving input. No new rentals have been added to Tyr at this time, however -- this was left here to remind and inform Tyr players of these items and where they are located. (For Tyr, use the Kafra to go to the town Valkyrie). For the effects of rentals, please refer to RateMyServer. Dracula has been removed from Bloody Branches and Abracadabra. Rare Pancakes prizes are no longer able to be dropped on the ground or accidentally sold to NPCs. Mobs located in the Notoriety dungeons have had their Flee and Vit reduced. Two new commands have been added: @guildmes and @gw. @guildmes will display a broadcast-like announcement to all online guild members. @gw will allow guild leaders to set permissions for guild members based on position for use of @guildmes.
