Overview

Antiques are powerful pieces of equipment which are awarded to the player by the Rekenber Corporation. After completing the Breaking The Seal quest, players may go to the police station in lighthalzen and donate (read bribe) zenny or premium points to the chief constable. Once a player has contributed enough he may go to the Rekenber Corporation headquaters and speak to Laurence to recieve their antiques. Laurence will also upgrade those antiques on level at a time. Currently available are the shield, helm, armour, footgear and garment.

Antiques recieve a portion of the experience accumulated by the player and grow up to ten levels. Each level allows the player to upgrade the antique from a list of available bonus', which are listed below at their maximum effect, and gain the same % damage reduction per level you would recieve from equipment refining. Most bonus can be increased 3 times for the maximum effect. Some can be chosen only once and only at a certain level. All antiques are slotted, with the helm having two slots and the rest having one.

Example: A player has leveled the antique helm to level 10. That piece of equipment would reduce all damage by 6% (1% reduction for every level over 4.) Talking to laurence and selecting SP usage once would add level 1 SP usage rate decrease. This decreases the SP a player uses when using skills or spells by 7.5%. Having selected on bonus, the player can talk to laurence and choose up to 9 more. Talking to Laurence again and selecting SP usage again would increase it to 15%. This would leave the player with 8 more bonus to choose from.

The chief constable is located in Lighthalzen police station at 235, 275. He's the first NPC inside (Navi/ lighthalzen 235/275)

Helm Antique

A special helment granted to adventurers who have aided Rekenber taking down Wolfchev.

  • Available bonus':
    • Demi-human resist: 10% at level 3
    • Neutral resist: 5% at level 3
    • Water resist: 5% at level 3
    • Earth resist: 5% at level 3
    • Fire resist: 5% at level 3
    • Wind resist: 5% at level 3
    • Max HP: 10% at level 3
    • Max SP: 10% at level 3
    • SP usage rate: -15% at level 2
    • No Gemstone: Selectable at level 3
    • Intravision: Selectable at level 10

Armour Antique

A special armour granted to adventurers who have aided Rekenber taking down Wolfchev.

  • Available bonus':
    • Neutral resist: 10% at level 3
    • Water resist: 10% at level 3
    • Earth resist: 10% at level 3
    • Fire resist: 10% at level 3
    • Wind resist: 10% at level 3
    • Max HP: 10% at level 3
    • Max SP: 10% at level 3
    • Near range resist: 6% at level 3
    • Long range resist: 6% at level 3
    • Magic resist: 6% at level 3
    • Misc resist: 6% at level 3
    • Unbreakable armour: Selectable at level 5
    • Perfect hit: 5% at level 3

Garment Antique

A special garment granted to adventurers who have aided Rekenber taking down Wolfchev.

  • Available bonus':
    • Neutral resist: 10% at level 3
    • Water resist: 10% at level 3
    • Earth resist: 10% at level 3
    • Fire resist: 10% at level 3
    • Wind resist: 10% at level 3
    • Max HP: 10% at level 3
    • Max SP: 10% at level 3
    • SP usage rate: -15% at level 2
    • Critical Defense: 40% at level 3

Footgear Antique

A special footgear granted to adventurers who have aided Rekenber taking down Wolfchev.

  • Available bonus':
    • Max HP: 10% at level 3
    • Max SP: 10% at level 3
    • Speed Rate: 15% at level 3
    • After Cast Delay: -5% at level 3
    • Flee: 30 at level 3
    • No Knockback: Selectable at level 5

Shield Antique

A special shield granted to adventurers who have aided Rekenber taking down Wolfchev.

  • Available bonus:
    • Neutral resist: 10% at level 3
    • Water resist: 10% at level 3
    • Earth resist: 10% at level 3
    • Fire resist: 10% at level 3
    • Wind resist: 10% at level 3
    • Non-boss resist: 10% at level 3
    • Boss resist 10% at level 3
    • Near range resist: 6% at level 3
    • Long range resist: 6% at level 3
    • Magic resist: 6% at level 3
    • Misc resist: 6% at level 3
