Loki:
- The Reputation quest for Twilight Alchemy IV has been added, thanks to the budding scriptsmanship of Wiggin - see his post below for more details!
- Emperiums will no longer display HP in WoE.
- An issue wherein the treasure chests in certain RDC missions would spawn in a far-off corner of the map has been resolved. The treasure chests will now spawn correctly where you warp into the mission. Furthermore, thanks to Sen's efforts, there should no longer be any more loot stealing from random players.
- Custom equipment that takes two slots will no longer halve the effects of cards in them that count how many of that card you have equipped.
- Envenom will now correctly add 15*skill level ATK as it did pre-SE.
- Due to what I can only assume is a typo, the combo bonus of running and spurt on FSK should now work as intended.
- Please Don't Forget Me's effect will now be considered a debuff and hence removed by Gospel. It will also disappear after death.
- Bull's Eye will correctly give its bonus towards DemiHuman players - when before it was just DemiHumans.
- Poring Assassin Card's extra damage should no longer miss.
- Super Novices' skills should no longer disappear when moving maps.
- Tarot Card of Hope has been added to your skill trees as a bard/dancer.
- Nobby really will stop stealing money from you in the Kraken's Lair!
- Sealed MvPs really will now spawn properly and not spawn a billion of them together!
- The way HP Drain works has been overhauled:
- Ok so, to introduce this change, I have to mention how RO handles items that use bHPDrainRate (for those that do not know, this is items such as Angra, Amistr Hat, Baal+Apache Tear; items that drain HP% at chance%). How this script works is that each time you equip a new item with another bHPDrainRate script, the values for amount of HP drained and the chance it is drained is added to your existing chances. This means, for example, if you had an item that gave you 10% HP drained @ 5% chance, and you equipped another item that gave 5% HP drained @ 20% chance, you'd now have 15% HP drained @ 25% chance. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as the script is not used much in official items and for good reason: to avoid the problem we have encountered.
- With the release of more and more items that offer bHPDrainRate, as well as a certain two-card combo, this allows people to drain up to - I believe - at least 50% of their HP 100% of the time; a miniature Angra, if you will, without really effecting the gears they'd normally wear. Now, there are reasons that Angra is banned in certain PvM and PvP content, chiefly the 3k attack but moreover the drain rate. In other words, items that used this script stacked really well, and I mean really well.
- The system basically needed changing, which has happened with this patch. Henceforth, most items will now only offer either an increase to the amount of HP drained, or the chance of draining HP. Only a few items have forewent this change, and those are the following: 1) Weapons will remain the same as they did previously. Weapons will now be seen as a "base", insomuch that other items will supplement a given weapon's percentages of HP drained and to actually drain HP. 2) Amistr Hat, as its use is so wide-spread and helpful to many new people, will remain the same. 3) Cedi orbs will remain the same as their chances are generally quite low.
- If you wish to see the actually changes to a specific item, look below. Also, descriptions have been updated in game of all items effected.
- The following items have had their effects fixed or altered, and added as drops to their correct mobs where missing:
- Rosevine - Now equippable by Dancers and Gypsies
- Stem Whip - Completely the wrong script
- SPGain5 - Will no longer activate at 50%
- Laver - Was increasing walking speed by 3 (flat number) for 5 seconds, now will increase properly in-line with the description
- Anything that casted Burning or Cold has had their chances to inflict either status rectified
- Sealed Pharaoh Card has had it's SP Drain amount increased to 20 SP per hit
- Sweet Grapes - Did not offer any increase in speed
- Hunter Fly Card - +3% chance to drain HP
- Sniper Card - +20% chance to drain HP, ignore Pneuma rate has increased to 7% from 5%.
- Rideword Hat - +8% more HP drained
- Manyu Mantis Card - +5% more HP drained
- Little Devil Horns - +25% chance to drain HP, with +10% more HP drained
- Baal + Apache Tear combo - When attacking, there will be a 1% chance all your attacks will be HP-draining attacks for 3.5 seconds (basically gives 100% chance to drain HP).
- Bonded Leather Set - +5% more HP drained, doubled with the full set.
- Speed Pots - Hercules had doubled the speed increase they gave you; we have halved it to its correct value again. They had also given it immunity to **AGI Down, Quagmire and PDFM, which we have reverted.
- Gold Scaraba Card (N) - Will now correctly cast the Wide status effects.
