RebirthRO Holiday Raffle & Daily Login Rewards

So here we are, at the start of the third RebirthRO Raffle. We've got some good prizes lined up, as well as a twist for this one, it's the holidays and we are in the giving spirit.

Prizes and Raffle Costs

• One grand prize winner will get a $200 gift card!
• 3 runner ups will get a $100 gift card.

So right there we have $500 in prizes. Unlike before, instead of 1 ticket costing 100pp, it will be 10 tickets for 100pp. Gift cards can be to: iTunes (US), Amazon.com, Walmart, BestBuy, some others (ask, WHEN/IF YOU WIN), you can also redeem for credits. When redeeming for credits you get 100pp per $1 won.

Daily Raffle Quest (Loki/Thor)

There's also a new Daily Quest added to Loki and Thor. When you complete this quest you get a daily entry in the raffle! You can do a daily quest once per calendar day. Daily entries can win the runner up prizes as well as the new daily prizes, but not the grand prize and donation based entries cannot win the daily prizes. The standard prize for winning a daily is a $10 gift card. There will be special daily prizes on Black Friday, Christmas, and New Years. Dailies do not get a participation prize.

You can PM Server "tickets" to check how many you have.

The daily quest varies a bit between Loki and Thor. While they have the same goals and basic function, Thor's uses the new conquest framework and is a bit more flashy/fancy and is a proof of concept for that framework. Loki's can be started in the field south of Prontera, while Thor's is started in Prontera itself. In both cases the NPC is named "Daily Quest".

You can only enter the raffle via donations on 1 account. You also can only enter the daily quest drawing on one account. Attempting to circumvent this will result in a permaban of all accounts, no exceptions. Winners will be checked thoroughly and if found to have cheated, will be banned and a new winner will be selected. Note: Cheating at the raffle is considered "hacking/exploit" and is not eligible for amnesty in the future, so watch it!

For those living in the same household: - Only one of you should do the daily quest. - You can donate for entries on multiple accounts if you all have different PayPal accounts, if you all share a PayPal account (i.e. your parents account), only enter on 1 account. - If you are using credits to fund your entries, that's the same as having 1 PayPal account (that's 1 source) so only do it with 1 account. If you are mixing bought-with-zeny credits with donations, use the above rule. Doesn't matter what ratio as long as it's reasonable.

If in doubt, ask a staff member. Don't risk your account, we don't give warnings for this kind of stuff. We catch you, you're banned, period. No appeals, no stating your case, no excuses, just banned. You've been warned.

Daily Quest Info

The daily quest can be completed once per calendar day. That means you can do it again at midnight server time (00:00). The quest itself is pretty easy, just kill 250 thief bugs and 1 Golden Thief Bug. It's highly recommended you bring a party. It helps you cover a lot more ground and get the quest done faster. There is absolutely no downside to bringing a party, the reward is unchanged and the number of monsters does not increase. Everyone in the party gets the reward.

You can speak with the quest NPC for details on the number of thief bugs left to kill. The number is not precise but is accurate to within +/- 5. The number does not include GTB. If GTB is the only monster left it will specifically say GTB is the only one left.

There's a few differences between the servers:

• On Loki, the quest is started in Prontera field, once started clicking the NPC takes you to the instance. On Thor it's started in Prontera, you then walk to Prontera field to enter the instance.
• On Loki, the instance expires 15 minutes after the map is empty. On Thor, it's 30 minutes. Entering the map again resets the timer. It does not tick down while someone is on the map. It exists only to remove abandoned instances.
• On Loki, Golden Thief Bug can be skipped by parties or individuals if the person that turns in the quest is under level 150. On Thor, a party must kill GTB, regardless of level and number of members, but an individual can skip it if they are under level 150.
• On Thor, all transitions to/from the instance are seamless. There is no screen flash.
• On Thor, you can help friends do the quest even after you have done it. Only help with the original account you did it with, to avoid being detected as someone trying to get around the system.

The best method for completing the quest ASAP is to form a full party. Spread out killing bugs in as best of a grid pattern as you can manage. If someone finds GTB, note it's location and ignore it (unless you are on Loki and can solo it in like 2 seconds). After bugs are hard to find, kill GTB. Then...

• On Thor: Continue killing until you've killed all the bugs you can find. Send someone to sit on the NPC and give you updates on the number remaining. Do this until the quest is completed.

• On Loki: Continue killing until you've killed all the bugs you can find. Have someone hunting near the NPC and give you updates on the number remaining. Do this until the quest is completed.

This quest was specifically designed to be annoying to solo. You should use a party, there is no down side to it.
