Overview

These services are provided by the Staff to the players who wish to use them as a way to transfer characters between accounts or change their character's name to a new one. Players who wish to use these services need to follow specific guidelines when filing a request.

In total, there are two services:

  1. Character Transfers : Transfer your character to a different account, with any items that the character has in its inventory.
  2. Abandoned Name Change: Change the name of your character to a name that was previously used but was abandoned. For instance, the name "Ragnarok" may have never been used in 5 years, so that name can be used via this service.

Rules and Notes

  • These services are for requests. It does not guarantee that the request will happen and can be denied for any reason.

Character Transfers

  • If a character is moved from a male account to a female account, the character will become female. Likewise, if a character moves from a female account to a male account, it becomes male.
  • You may only use this service once every 60 days, for a given account.
  • When transferring a character to a new account, all character based data (Quest progress, homunculi, dyna effects, etc) will be transferred. However, account based data (event points, donor level, etc) will remain on the original account.
  • Major account changes can only be performed when the account(s) are offline and may be done as late as during the next server maintenance after the request is accepted, if it is.
  • If we suspect real money trade is involved in a character transfer, we will not perform the service. If we have evidence that it is, you will be banned.
  • By using this service, characters can be bought/sold. However, they may ONLY be bought/sold for ingame items, zeny, credits, or other characters. You can NOT trade real money or objects. If you do, you will be banned.
  • Ensure that there will not be more than 21 characters on either account after the transfer is complete.
  • If transferring multiple characters from the same account, they must be going to a single account. You can not transfer 5 characters from your account into 5 different accounts using the same request. To do that, you would need 5 separate requests, spaced 60 days apart.
  • Characters may only be transferred to another account on the same server. You can't transfer a character from Eir to Loki, or from Loki to Tyr, or any other combination.
  • Characters can not be transferred to, or from, banned accounts. All items / characters on banned accounts will stay on banned accounts.
  • Guaranteed Refine Tickets cannot be transferred through this service.
  • Each transfer must include a character. You can't move just the inventory, or certain items from a character.
  • Both accounts MUST have access to the emails associated with them for the trade to go through. There will be absolutely no exceptions. If you do not have access to the email on your account, view This Page to change it.
  • We reserve the right to change the pricing, timing, and restrictions of this services for whatever reasons, but especially if we feel they are being abused or the demand is too great.
  • If you plan on trading characters for stuff/other characters--screenshot the deal. We will email you both to confirm the deal and agree. There is no turning back, so keep something for reference just in case. If you pay the other person with something via a trade later, screenshot that too. Cover all your bases and screenshot everything!
  • If you are buying/selling items and/or characters using this service, it is suggested that you do not trade ingame items/zeny/credits until services send you a confirmation email. This is to prevent possible scams from occurring. Failure to do this, and trading before you are sure the request was sent in by receiving a confirmation email, can lead to issues with you being scammed which we may not be able to help you with.

Name Changes

  • The name of a character you wish to use must not be from one of your banned accounts that you wish to use again.
  • Character names can not be chosen if it is that of an ex-Staff member
  • The account that currently owns the name must be inactive for 1 year per 20% of max level (20 levels on Eir / Tyr, 51 levels on Loki). If the character that owns the name is level 255, the account must be inactive for 5 years (255 / 51 = 5). If the character name is on Eir / Tyr, and is level 99, the account must be inactive for 5 years, give or take (99 / 20 = 4.95)


Cost

Character Transfer

  • For each request, it costs 2,500 Premium Points for the first character transfer
  • Each additional character transfer on the same request will cost 1,000 Premium Points
  • Any Premium Items that are transferred with the character will have 25% of their value added to the fee. See below for an example
  • Any Character Bound or Account Bound, Non-Premium Items, can be transferred along with a character for no fee.

Example A:

Transferring 1 Assassin Cross from account A to account B - Cost: 2,500 Premium Points

Example B:

Transferring 1 Assassin Cross and 1 High Priest from account A to account B - Cost: 3,500 Premium Points

Example C:

Transferring 1 Assassin Cross, 1 Lord Knight, 1 Angra Manyu, 1 Dyna Wing (4), 10 Jellopys - Cost: 5,000 Premium Points. Angra (1,000 premium points) and Dyna Wings (5,000 premium points) combined equal 6,000 premium points. 25% of that is 1,500 premium points. Those points, added to the first character fee and second character fee give us our total. Guaranteed Refine Tickets are not premium items, so they are free.

How to make a request

Character Transfer

  1. Decide what you are going to transfer and calculate the appropriate costs
  2. Ensure the payment is in your current premium point balance, not in coin form. If they are in coin form, double click the coins to add them to your account balance. Only premium points may be used, not limited points.
  3. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with the account you want the service for. In the email, include the following:
    1. The character name(s) to be transferred.
    2. The email address associated with the account they are to be moved to.
    3. The reason for transferring the character(s). There is always a reason, so don't be shy to say "I want <insert item> from my alt" or any other excuse.
    4. A list of the account bound items that will be transferred. The presence of items not listed can result in a delay or denial of service.
  4. Wait patiently! Do not come into helpdesk asking when it will be complete. This can be a lengthy process and could take several days or more.

Name Changes

  3. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with the account you want the service for. In the email, include the following:
    1. The name of your character which will be changed
    2. The name you would like to check the availability of
  4. Wait patiently! Do not come into helpdesk asking when it will be complete. While it may be done quickly, that is not guaranteed.



Final Note

If you don't want to pay for the services, don't. No one is making you so please do not turn this into a drama fest about how it's too expensive/not fair/something. These are just services that have been requested many times but due to the time and effort involved we've previously denied.
