1. Achieve Job Level 10 as a novice.
2. Travel to payon. Speak to the NPC named Phoenix at (158, 140). He will ask the player to gain 1 more base level.
3. Return with the level and become a TaeKwon Kid after giving the following answers to Phoenix's questions;
- I face it head on.
- Accept differences and learn from them.
- Yes.
4. You will be rewarded with a Guard [0]. (Some servers require gaining more than 1 base level during the quest for this reward.)
- Note: if your Base Level is 20 or higher, you will not be asked to gain another level.
