If you notice someone breaking the rules, you can:

• Use the in-game Whisper NPC:Report
• Sign in at the Helpdesk
• PM Game Masters via their Discord profiles

Punishment evasion means trying to avoid a penalty by creating new accounts or using other methods to continue rule-breaking activities.

• First evasion → Increased mute time
• Second evasion → Account-wide mute (all characters)
• Third evasion → Ban (further evasions count as ban evasion)

• First evasion → Permanent ban of all accounts
• Second evasion → Permanent ban of the IP address

Evading mutes by switching platforms (e.g., being muted in Discord and then using in-game chat) counts as evasion and will be punished accordingly.

These rules apply to both the in-game Main Chat channel and the connected Discord Main channel.

• 🇬🇧 101 - English Only - English only, so chat can be properly moderated by staff
• 🚫 102 - No suggestions/begging - No directing suggestions at GMs or begging for events, items, or zeny
• 🛒 103 - Use #trade - No buying, selling, or price checking in #main
• 🏃 104 - No leeches - Use #pr for FREE leeching only
• 👥 105 - No recruiting - Use #gr for guilds and #pr for parties
• 🔁 106 - No spamming/flooding - Don't flood the main chat
• 🆘 107 - GM assistance - Use GM Assistant in Prontera for help
• 👪 108 - Keep topics clean - Follow broadcast TV rules (USA)
• 🗣️ 109 - No accusations - Don't claim someone is a scammer/hacker without filing a report
• ❌ 110 - No complaints - Use the forums for suggestions
• 😡 111 - No toxic behavior - Any kind of toxic behavior is prohibited
• 🔄 112 - No off-topics - Main chat is for game-related discussions only
• 💬 113 - No 1:1 Messages - No speaking gibberish or calling non-existent players

Addendum: When trying to contact someone with a name that might break the rules (like “selling poring card”), use a clear structure: “Would the player with the name 'selling poring card' please PM me?”

Any attempt to use loopholes will be met with the “Catch All” rule. If unsure whether something is allowed, ASK first.

All names (characters, guilds, pets) must be appropriate (PG-13 rating).

• Character name violation → Jail until name is changed or character deleted
• Guild name violation → Jail of Guild Leader until guild is disbanded
• Second guild name violation → Ban up to 3 days
• Third guild name violation → Ban up to 14 days
• Pet name violation → Jail until pet name is changed

Account sharing is heavily discouraged. The account holder is responsible for all actions taken on their account, regardless of who was using it.

• Don't use more than 3 lines of chat at once
• Don't repeat messages within 30 seconds
• Don't spam skills in town (except heals/buffs)
• Limit refining to 2-3 times in crowded areas
• Don't repeatedly cast buffs every 30 seconds

The GM Team reserves the right to administer punishment with just cause, generally through majority consensus.

Do not use ANY bot and/or third party program under ANY circumstance.

• This includes scripts that operate without additional input
• “Ducking-bird” mechanical devices are also prohibited
• All external tools that allow cheating are banned
• First offense → Permanent Ban

All client/hex/grf editing is prohibited, including changing sprites or camera view.

• First offense → Permanent Ban

Hacking via brute force is illegal. Sharing your information with suspicious programs is your own fault.

Do not train or farm while away from your computer.

• First offense → Strip and disconnect
• Second offense → 4-hour jail
• Third offense → 8-hour jail
• Fourth offense → Ban up to 5 days

Report all bugs/exploits immediately. Using exploits will result in punishment.

• Non-economy bug exploit → Ban up to 7 days
• Economy-changing bug exploit → Ban from 2 weeks up to permanent

• Maximum 5 alts per person at any given time
• Maximum 10 accounts per individual
• Alchemist exception: Additional alts allowed for crafting
• Vending limited to 5 alts
• Don't use alts to guarantee victory in mini-games

Causing other players to error is prohibited.

Don't abuse Guild Point farming with alt accounts.

• Punishment → Account ban

Deception to gain money, items, or accounts is prohibited.

• Buying at high prices isn't scamming
• Accidental vending mistakes aren't scamming
• Dropped items are considered relinquished
• Trust-based transactions are at your own risk

For lending cases, evidence is required:

• Screenshot showing the agreement with both parties acknowledging terms
• Screenshot of item return is recommended
• Lending cases without evidence won't be handled

Don't sell:

• Items players shouldn't have (unreleased items)
• “Unknown Items”
• NPC-purchasable quest items for more than NPC price

Don't enter PvP areas while disguised as monsters/NPCs.

• Punishment → Disguise removal, warning, jail, or ban

• No buying/selling/trading during events
• Don't sell holiday event gift items
• Unclaimed prizes expire after one month

Don't fill rooms with non-playing characters to control access.

• Use @noks instead of reporting kill stealing
• Report persistent harassment via NPC:Report
• MVPs in MVP rooms are Free-for-All

• Excessive swearing is prohibited
• Racial slurs are not tolerated

• No insulting via public or private chat
• No public defamation of players
• Use /ex to block harassers before reporting
• MVP obstruction (beyond normal competition) is harassment
• Begging for items/zeny/levels is harassment
• Revealing real-life information without permission is prohibited

Be respectful and courteous to staff members.

• Don't ask to become a GM
• Don't bother GMs unnecessarily
• Don't beg for items, zeny, events, or commands
• For corruption accusations, provide proof to higher staff only

• Never claim to be a GM
• Don't use names similar to GM names
• Names similar to former GMs may be reserved

• Don't reveal a GM's legitimate character
• Don't try to discover GM identities
• Punishment → PERMANENT BAN (no exceptions)

• No “Emperium hugging” (blocking access with items/players)
• No casting Flying Side Kick on barricades/emperium
• Don't participate without a visible guild emblem
• Don't block castle entrance portals

• Don't copy another guild's emblem
• No transparent/invisible emblems
• Emblems must be clearly recognizable as emblems

• No alts in battlegrounds
• No badge farming or AFK participation
• Punishment → Jail time, badge removal, or temporary ban

Don't advertise other servers or MMOs.

• BAD: “You should join xxxxRO”
• ACCEPTABLE: “I used to play xxxxRO, then came here”
• No referral links allowed

For account security, request lockdown through helpdesk. You'll need to verify ownership through the account email.

Your account email is your lifeline. Email changes must go through Support and are handled manually.
