Overview

It's Easter and the Easter Bunny wants to be recognized for his hard work!

He’s tired of all the other holidays getting all the love so he wants to show people that he can be just as lovely as Cupid, as jolly as Santa and as happy as that darn Turkey from Thanksgiving!

With the help of his trusty sidekick Elly, he's going to host the most amazing Easter Egg Hunt ever and show everyone how wonderful he is!


The Easter Bunny even started hiding eggs early to prepare for Easter, carefully hiding several eggs around Midgard and has placed something good in each one.

The only problem is since he started early chances are high that some eggs might have gone bad by now... oops.


How to Participate

This event will be based on our mining point system and how it works.

Like how mining points spawn in random dungeons, eggs will spawn in both dungeons and fields (1 per 2 min) .

Once clicked on, these eggs will disappear and leave behind a short message in your chat box saying "You've found an Easter egg!" (good) or another one saying “You’ve found a rotten Easter egg!” (bad at a 10% chance) which will give the players either the good prize the Easter goodie bag or the bad one which will give the player an "Easter Egg Shell" basically a copy of "Piece of Egg Shell Item - ID# 7032" made exclusively for Easter which they can collect and turn in for a Easter Goodie bag (5 Egg Shells/1 Goodie Bag turned into the Easter Bunny).

Egg shell turn in is Repeatable.

The Easter Bunny will be providing the player a rental costume called the “Costume: Easter Basket (2018)” which is required be equipped whenever the player interacts with the “Easter Egg” Monster. The Basket will be a copy of the “Costume: Treasure Basket” - ID: 62009” remade into the “Costume: Easter Basket (2018)”

Easter Bunny: ... I’ve had enough! This is so unfair!...I work as hard as those other holiday mascots...deserve to be recognized for my work...

Easter Bunny: What is it? What? How long have you been standing there?! *ahem* I mean, welcome! I’m the Easter Bunny or as I like to be called “Bunny”~ Who might you be?

[Gives player the option to tell Bunny their name or refuse and walk away (cancel)]

Easter Bunny: *inserts players name* you’ve come just in time! My wonderfully amazing holiday is about to begin and I, the great Easter “Bunny” have hidden a number of eggs around Midgard for everyone to enjoy this Easter~ Sounds fun right?

[Gives the player the option to say “Very fun!” or “Ha! Easter egg hunts are for kids”]

Easter Bunny: You must be wondering where exactly “Midgard” is huh? Well it basically means all over the world! I’ve hid them in nearly every field and dungeon you could think of, shoving them into every nook or cranny imaginable.


  • Bunny proudly beams at you*

Easter Bunny: I bet you’ll have one hell of a time finding them, but if you do, you'll definitely be glad! Each egg holds a special little reminder of why Easter is so darn special. It truly brings people together and you get something to enjoy in the end. The only thing that I require of you is to use these special baskets I made while searching for them.

  • Bunny’s eyes glaze over while talking, but he shakes himself out of it and hands the player the basket*

Easter Bunny: Anyways, enough of this feel good stuff. Have fun kiddies and good luck!


Easter Bunny: A bad egg?? Oh no! I'm so sorry, I guess I got a bit ahead of myself. I really just wanted to make this the best Easter ever...

  • Bunny trails off and tears up a bit*

Easter Bunny: You know what? Here's what I can do for you. For every 5 egg shells you bring me, I'll give you 1 goodie bag in return. I know its not much, but that's the best I can do. What do you say?

[Player agrees "Hell Yeah!" or rejects "1 bag for 5? Hell nah!"]

  • Player hands over the 5 egg shells*

Easter Bunny: Awesome! Here's your goodie bag, Happy Easter!

Easter Bunny: ...Well I guess there isn't anything else I can do for you. Sorry again and Happy Easter.

  • Costume: Easter Basket (Rental that lasts from start of event to finish)


Mini Event

Additionally an Easter themed Boss spawns in a town every 2 hours for players to co-operate and kill.

The Boss is non aggressive (more times than not running away) unless attacked. When defeated, every player on the map is given 1 Goodie Bag for participating; additionally 20-40 Easter Eggs (NPC) will 'scatter' [Spawn] around the map the Boss was killed in.

This caters to everyone, the people who want to grind out and find eggs in the world, the players who want to actively kill something and players who have little to no time to go out and find eggs can get some "pity" / participation eggs from being on the map the Easter boss dies in.
