1. Speak to the Sage (Located at 198, 252) at Moscovia Field 02. He mentions a large rock where the road splits ahead.

  • Note: You need to have a Poring Card in your inventory to start the quest.

2. Enter the Moscovia Dungeon and examine the Mysterious Stone (Located at 169, 161). Choose the middle path from the options. A Gray Wolf will appear. Talk to it and you will discover that it is the one who stops adventurers from wandering around the forest. It will attack you and warp you back to the dungeon entrance.

3. Return to the Mysterious Stone and talk to the Gray Wolf again. Offer to help him and he will warp you someplace else.

4. Examine to the Wall (Located at 45, 257) in front of you where you were warped. A girl trapped in the wall named Maria Morebna will tell you stories about her last fight with Koschei. She will ask you for help and you will be told to go get a Golden Key from the key maker in Moscovia.

5. Go to Moscovia and find The Blacksmith (Located at 181, 127) says you will need a lot of materials for the Golden Key and asks you to bring him:

After bringing him the steel, he will give you:

  • Note: You must wear this at all times when gathering the items for the Golden Key.

6. After obtaining the shoes, he asks you to collect:

  • Note: After obtaining all the required items, continue on Step 7 below after the Golden Thread part of the quest.

1. At Moscovia, talk to Vassili Grandpapa (Located at 206, 81), and ask him about the Red Ring. He tells you that he gave it to his younger daughter Mashenka who had passed away. He frequently mentions his elder daughter Ryubaba.

2. Speak to Ryubaba (Located at 213, 216) and tell her how pretty she is. She will reward you with:

Note: When clicking on the Thornbushs, not all yield a Sharp Branch. If they do not yeild the Sharp Branch it will damage your HP. Simply move on to next Thornbush. There are only 8 Thornbushs so they will yield a Sharp Branch more then once.
Note2: You can only pick Sharp Branch from the same Thornbush every 60 seconds.

5. After collecting the Sharp Branches from all of the Thornbushes, return to the Shepherdess and she will make a flute. She will then play the flute but a voice will be heard instead of the tune. She will be horrified and will give you a:

6. Return to Ryubaba and play the flute for her. She will beg you not to tell her father about what she did and trade the flute for the ring. Refuse her offer and you will be warped near Vassili Granpapa. Play the flute to him and he will give you:

1. Speak to the Worried Mother (Located at 166, 145), and offer to help find her missing daughter. She will tell you that she is an aqua nymph and anyone who makes eye contact with her can be hurt. She can be found between 5PM to 6AM PST. You need to bring

2. Go to Moscovia Field 02 and during the available hours, walk to the end of the dock at (Located at 113, 202). Speak to the Lusalka that appears. She will tell you her story and ask you to find her lover, Igor, in Rune-Midgarts.

3. Go to Prontera and find the Wanderer from a strange land (Located at 228, 279). Tell him you're looking for Igor. He will tell you his story and tell you that Igor was heading to the desert.

4. Go to Morocc and speak to the Morroc Villager (Located at 165, 82). He tells you Igor headed for the pyramids.

5. Go to Pyramids F4 and talk to the Soldier (Located at 126, 119). It's Igor! Give him the earrings and tell him about his lover, Svetlana. He will tell you the story about how he lost Svetlana from the cold marsh. Talk to him again and give him encouragement. Agree to deliver his message to his love, the Lusalka.

6. Go back to the dock and speak to Lusalka again to deliver his message.

  • Note: Don't forget your Holy Water to protect yourself from her stare!

7. Ask for her two locks of her hair and you will be attacked by an unseen creature. After the attack, walk back to the pier to pick up:

1. Go to Les Forest and return to the Wall (Located at 45, 257). Talk to Maria and she will open a warp portal to Marozka's dungeon.

2. You will be warped to Marozka's Dungeon. He will challenge you to collect 100 Well-baked Cookies from the oven and 100 Apples from the tree.

  • Note: You can either get burnt or befell with worms. If that happens, you will lose some health.

Note: Speak with ALL 3 NPCs here Bethel, The Stone Furnace, and the Occult Apple Tree should you not do this, you may not be able to re-enter the dungeon to complete this quest.

3. Head to the Stone Furnace (Located at 45, 128) and gather the well-baked cookies. Continue along and head to the Occult Apple Tree and collect 100 Apples. Monster will spawn occasionally so be careful. Monsters that spawn include:

Once you have all the items, exit to the portal in the end of the dungeon.

4. You will be warped back to Moscovia Field 02. Speak to Marozka (Located at 243, 270). He will tell you that the process of making the thread is hard and asks you to come back in an hour. After an hour has passed, speak to him again. He will ask you several riddles. Answers are:

  • A Mirror
  • 4
  • Day
  • A Candle
  • An Hourglass

After passing the quiz, you will be given:



7. Return to The Blacksmith with all the required materials. He will cast a protection spell on you and tell you to go visit the Key Maker in a cabin in the forest. He will tell you to remember the spell as it wears off fast as he is only a blacksmith. The spell is: "Spellshield Protection"

  • Note: The Blacksmith will take off all your equipment while casting the spell. Also, he will take the Iron Shoes 01 in the process. The spell that he will cast is not an actual spell.

8. Go to Temny Forest and speak to Baba Yaga (Located at 48 213), She will ask you to enter the spell name. She will make the key, but requires a favor first.

  • Note: After doing Baba Yaga's task depending on your class, continue to Step 9 below.



Swordman Class

1. Baba Yaga needs your help to drive out a ghost from the jar near the cabin that irritates her a lot.

2. In Temny Forest, examine the House Ghost Jar (Located at 57, 220) and it will summon 2 Male Thief Bugs and an Ancient Worm. Defeat them and examine the jar again.

3. Ask "What can i do for you?" The Ghost will want to play a card game with you. It says it needs to find its cards.

4. Click the jar again and it will start the game.

  • Note: During the card game, enemies can still attack you. Simply press the cancel option to end game and kill enemy) The ghost will tell you that it has a Ghostering, Angeling and a Poring card. All you have to do it guess what card it picks 3 out of 5 times.

5. After winning the game, the ghost will promise that he will keep quiet from now on. Bring him 1 Milk and he will thank you again for playing with him.

6. You may now return to Baba Yaga.

Priest Class

1. Baba Yaga needs your help silencing a noisy coffin that stops her from getting a decent sleep.

2. In Temny Forest, find a coffin beside her cottage (Located at 65, 232).

3. Do the following procedures in order to successfully silence the coffin:

  • Pour Holy Water 1 Holy Water is consumed.
  • Pray
  • Sing a Hymn
  • Kick

4. Once successful, return to Baba Yaga.

Archer Class

1. Baba Yaga has lost her cow and she asks you to find her and cast a return spell on it.

2. In Temny Forest, find her cow (Located at 257, 193). It will try to attack you and you must use the spell that she gave you to cast it on the cow. The spell is : Good feed is orange-flavored.

3. Once successful, return to Baba Yaga.

Mage Class

1. Baba Yaga asks you to buy a published book by Momotaro in Amatsu.

2. Go to Amatsu and talk to the Momotoro Publisher (Located at 233, 234). Talk to him and he will ask for you name. Input Baba Yaga and he will give you the list of the books she ordered. The books are, 'Magic to destroy time', 'The story of the house ghost around the world', 'Strange and weird world of Herbs'.

3. You will need to pay 5,000 zeny in order to purchase the books.

4. Once successful, return to Baba Yaga.

Thief Class

1. Baba Yaga asks you to find her Silver Spoons which were stolen by pirates of the wrecked ship. Make sure to bring a File:747.gif Crystal Mirror before starting the quest.

2. Travel to Sunken Ship F1 and find the following materials in order:

  • "Old Bed" (25,39). Choose "Bed Sheet" and you will be scared off by an unknown creature.
  • "Dirty Wall" (98, 115). Examine the dirty wall.
  • "Old Wooden Box" (62, 182). Keep checking it till you find a handler of a key.
  • "Opened Treasure Chest" (28, 113). Search the chest and keep trying until you find the piece of the key.
  • "Old Treasure Box" (165, 58). Try to open the box. The mirror will reflect the flash from the mermaid figure's eye on the box and you receive:

3. Once successful, return to Baba Yaga.

Other Classes

1. Baba Yaga wants you to buy her a broom from the Broom Grandmother in Payon.

2. Go to Payon and talk to Broom Grandma (Located at 65, 118). She will tell you that she doesn't have any brooms because the ghosts stole them.

3. Go to Payon Cave F5 and find the tree (Located at 163, 186) where the ghosts are hiding. Confront the ghost tree and answer its questions about a Kafra race. Answer the following in order:

  • Jasmine
  • Roxie
  • Glaris
  • Defolty
  • Tailing

4. Then listen to the story about upgrading your Hat of the Sun God to +7 and then breaking it!

  • Antonio broke it...

5. Finally, play dice with the ghost tree.

  • Note: You get three tries to throw the same number as the ghost. It's random, so just keep trying until you get it.

6. When you win, you will get THE BEST BROOM MADE IN PAYON!! Return to Baba Yaga

  • Note: It is not an actual item.



9. Speak to Baya Yaga (Located at 48, 213) after completing your task. You will be given:

10. Go to Les Forest and head back to the Wall (Located at 45, 257). Speak to Maria and she will tell you on how to use the key to release her. Shout "The Free wind blows and gets you wherever you want". The Immortal Koschei will appear to fight you.

11. After defeating him, speak to Maria again through the Wall. She will be very weak from the attack and the Gray Wolf asks you to gather Living Water and Cursed Water from Baba Yaga.

12. Go to Temny Forest and return to Baba Yaga. Bring her the needed items to save Maria:

13. Return to Maria and use the Living Water first, then the Cursed Water. Once successful, she will reward you with:

She will also reward you with a random Level 8 dish. This may be:

Additionally, she will also give you experience depending on your level.

14. Return to Baba Yaga who offers to make Condensed Red & Yellow Potions.
