Bitcoin Mining

How It Works

  • At specific intervals every day, one NPC will appear in a random dungeon. It can be any dungeon whatsoever. It will not appear in a town, field, instance, guild_town, or anywhere that is not a dungeon (Approx 76 choices). The interval between the NPC appearing is:
    • Eir: Once an hour
    • Loki: Once every 10 minutes
    • Tyr: Once every 3 hours
  • The NPC looks exactly like a Mineral. It does not move, it does not attack.
  • Regardless of how many are currently active, they will keep appearing every 10 minutes. This can lead to having multiple NPCs located in the same dungeon.
  • When you have found one of the NPCs, make sure you have a mining_pickaxe or sturdy_mining_pickaxe in your inventory. If you do not have one of these, you will not be able to mine for tokens.
    • The mining_pickaxe is a weapon that can be purchased from the Tools NPC in yuno_mall for some zeny, or from the Premium Point Redemption NPC. The prices are as follows:
      • Eir - 2 Premium Points or 100,000 Zeny
      • Loki - 2 Premium Points or 1,000,000 Zeny
      • Tyr - 2 Premium Points or 500,000 Zeny
    • The sturdy_mining_pickaxe can be purchased from the Premium Point Redemption NPC on all servers for 500 Premium Points.
    • To mine one of the NPCs, simply click on the NPC. If you succeed or fail, the following messages, depending on how many you earned, will be displayed in green on your chat window (guild chat):
      • You have successfully excavated this mining point and gained 1 token.
      • You have successfully excavated this mining point and gained 2 tokens.
      • Your pickaxe has broken! (Only for the mining_pickaxe)
    • When you do mine for a point after finding an NPC, there is a 20% chance that your pickaxe will break. However, if you use the sturdy_mining_pickaxe, that chance goes away and your weapon can not break. When it does, it is lost forever and you must purchase a new one. If you succeed in mining, you will receive either 1, or 2 Mining Tokens. Mining Tokens can be redeemed for items described below.
