1. In Port Malaya, talk to the Guard (/navi malaya 305/281).

• He says people have been secretly leaving the village in search of treasure.

2. Speak with the Port Malaya Villagers (/navi malaya 270/280).

• They mention a boy named Totoy who recently came back from the forest.

3. Go to the Inn (middle of the town) and speak with Totoy upstairs.

• He says he is blind and needs a Green Potion.

4. Search the Drawer but find only an empty bottle.

• Give Totoy a Green Potion from your inventory.
• He recovers and explains he went bug catching but saw a strange monster.
• He suggests you visit the Master of Hunting.

5. Speak with the Master of Hunting (/navi malaya 290/152).

• He doubts your story, but asks you to collect 10 Collected Samples from Unknown Traces near the forest entrance.

6. Collect the samples and return to him.

• He identifies them as Buwaya’s Tooth.
• He concludes Buwaya is alive and asks you to report to the Guard Leader.

7. Speak with the Guard Leader (/navi malaya 290/340).

• He instructs you to launch a smoke bomb where Buwaya was seen.

8. Proceed to the forest.

• On the way, you encounter Ed the Dog, who guides you to Buwaya’s Lair.

9. After releasing the smoke bomb, return Ed to Totoy.

• Totoy (revealed to be a girl) thanks you and gives you 5 items.

10. Return to the Guard Leader for rewards:

• 1,000,000 Base EXP
• 600,000 Job EXP

This quest or instance can be repeated. *Cooldown:* 1 Day

1. At the entrance, speak with the Guard (/navi ma_fild02 315/315) to create an instance.

2. Enter the cave and search for the real Buwaya.

• Beware of fake Buwayas, which warp you into a treasure box and poison you.
• Inside the box, defeat Buwaya’s Weaknesses (20 HP each, 1 dmg per hit) to escape.
• Speaking to the old man inside grants ATK & MATK buffs.

3. Repeat until you find and defeat the real Buwaya.

Notes:

• Plants in the cave cast Agi Down constantly.
• Dead players are not warped into the box.
• Players using Hiding may also avoid being warped.
• You don’t need to start any prerequisite quest to enter the Buwaya instance.
