The 'Fame System' is a unique ranking mechanic for the Alchemist class that rewards consistent and successful creation of Condensed Potion|Condensed Potions. Players earn rank points by achieving consecutive successful crafts, with higher streaks granting significantly more points.

Rank points are awarded for creating Condensed Potions without a single failure: * '+1 Point': 3 successful crafts in a row * '+3 Points': 5 successful crafts in a row * '+10 Points': 7 successful crafts in a row * '+50 Points': 10 successful crafts in a row

Players can check their current Alchemist rank and standing by using the chat command: /alchemist

Alchemists (and their advanced class, Biochemist) who achieve a ranking in the 'top 10' receive a special bonus:

• All potions they create receive a '+50% bonus to their potency' (healing/effect amount).

'Important Exception': This bonus does 'not' apply to potions used through the Aid Potion or Aid Condensed Potion skills.

* The system incentivizes high DEX and LUK stats, as well as a high level in Learning Potion, to increase success rates and achieve longer streaks. * The potent bonus for top-ranked Alchemists makes them highly valuable suppliers for parties and guilds. * The ranking is highly competitive and often reflects a server's most dedicated potion crafters.
