When the Blacksmith transcends the limitations of working with Steel, the realization that any material existing in the world can be used to create valuable items naturally follows. It is this level of artistry in creating weapons that defines the Mastersmith. The Mastersmith also specializes in manipulating fire and using Mace and Ax weapons in battle.

==== Description ====

The Mastersmith is the pinnacle of the [[wiki:blacksmith]]'s career. The Mastersmith is able to create valuable items from any material she/he can get hold of. Plus, she/he has achieved the zenith of craftsmanship and can now upgrade weapons for herself/himself and her/his allies. The Mastersmith also specializes in manipulating fire and using various weapons in battle.

It grows upon the Smiths Axe/Mace skills and received a lot of nice new skills. Although the class almost seems to be ignored by Gravity, or almost lowered in power compared to the other Reborn classes, Smiths still pose a dangerous threat to almost every class. They have the power to break Weapons and Armor while they're attacking their enemy with [[wiki:melt_down]] and then unleash a flurry of [[wiki:cart_termination|Cart Terminations]]. This class takes a lot of customization in order to make work properly and takes a lot of time and effort to play one well.

Being a class with high damage per second rating, Mastersmiths gained boosts in their skills that exploits their [[wiki:aspd]]. One of is the [[wiki:melt_down]] skill that gives the smiths use for their skill Weapon Repair for it breaks weapons for a chance. Another skill [[wiki:cart_termination]], (although over shadowed by their co-class' [[wiki:acid_demonstration]] as their new skill) that makes characters with low VIT run for their lives. Cart Termination is another skill that is ASPD dependent and is almost spammable.

Another note is that, the Mastersmiths with their new skills drains more zeny than their non-rebirth counterpart. \\
