Tier 2

1. Talk to the Journalist until she tells you about the absolver in payon.

2. Go to payon. Near the middle of the map, is the Absolver (Located at 187, 175). This is a peculiar little guy.

It is extremely important that you read this first, before talking to him.

• If you are on the Fame path, he will remove all the infamy that you have acquired one time. Once you use it, if you acquire more infamy, he will not remove it.
• If you are on the Infamy path, he will remove all the fame that you have acquired one time. Once you use it, if you acquire more fame, he will not remove it.

1. Talk to the Journalist until she tells you about a drunk blacksmith in Einbech.

2. Go to einbech and head west into the first building, which is the tavern (Located at 141, 112).

3. Sitting at a table, is the Blacksmith. Speak to him, and he will talk about his shop being closed down. Make sure to read his instructions. You have more than one opportunity to change your mind about helping him or not, so choose carefully.

• If you decide to help him, he will ask you to collect the following items for the fame reward:

• 10 of any Anvil item (Anvil, Golden Anvil, etc) and 20 of any Forging Hammer (Oridecon Hammer, Golden Hammer, etc).
• Fame +

• If you decide not to help him, he will scream at you and you get your infamy reward:

• Infamy +

1. Talk to the Journalist until she tells you about the loud singing in Yuno.

2. Go to yuno. Located near the bottom of the map is the Burly Woman (Located at 178,113).

3. Bring her back a Wedding Dress to wear for the concert.

4. Bring her the following to put in her hair for the concert:

• 12 Witherless Rose
• 12 Frozen Rose.

5. She'll then give you 3 options one of them will give you some fame.

• Option 1: “Some Manners”
• Option 2: “A life?”
• Option 3: “Whatever you need, I'll help!”

• Fame +

6. Bring her back the following to pay for the concert:

• 20,000,000 (Loki) or 3,000,000 (Loki) Zeny

7. After she's done singing, she will ask for your opinion. Be careful which option you choose, as it will define what reward you get.

• Option 1: “Let me just… think on that.”

• Allows you to come back and respond later

• Option 2: “That was TERRIBLE give me back my money!”

• Large Infamy +

• Option 3: “It was… wonderful?”

• Large Fame +

1. Talk to the Journalist until she tells you about the confusing signs.

2. Go to gonryun and head to the southeast corner of the main island. You will find a Dirty Mirror (Located at 204, 67). Interact with it and you will receive a 'Dirty Mirror'.

It's not an actual item, but you need it to progress in this quest.

3. Locate the 4 Confusing signs in the towns. Each one will display a message to you

• geffen (164, 83) - “The Robbery will be perfect.”
• izlude (164, 150) - “We'll get every single gem.”
• payon (196, 164) - “It all goes down in Umbala.”
• prontera (214, 178) - “We'll meet in Louyang.”

4. Head to aldebaran and go to the southern part of the town and speak to Guardian Trainee (Located at 161, 48). He will ask you “Where is the crime going to take place?”. You have three options. You may lie or tell the truth, it will depend on which side you chose to go down:

• Option 1: “Morocc”

• Infamy +

• Option 2: “Umbala”

• No Reward, just allows you to move on to the next person

• Option 3: “Moscovia”

• Infamy +

5. When finished with the trainee, head to the Northwest portion of the map and speak to Guardian Soldier (Located at 73, 182). He will ask you “Where will I find the criminals?”. You have three options. You may lie or tell the truth, it will depend on which side you chose to go down:

• Option 1: “Morocc”

• Infamy +

• Option 2: “Louyang”

• No Reward, just allows you to move on to the next person

• Option 3: “Moscovia”

• Infamy +

6. When finished with the soldier, head to the east bridge on the map and speak to Guardian Lieutenant (Located at 197, 154). He will ask you “What crime will take place?”. You have three options. You may lie or tell the truth, it will depend on which side you chose to go down:

• Option 1: “Murder”

• Infamy +

• Option 2: “Robbery”

• No Reward, just allows you to move on to the next person

• Option 3: “Kidnapping”

• Infamy +

7. When finished with the lieutenant, head to the middle of the map and speak to Guardian Captain (Located at 148, 132). He will have heard about you from the other NPCs. When finished talking to the captain you now have 2 options to choose from. You may either:

• Option 1: Go to Louyang and help capture the criminals

• Warp to louyang (@go 14). Head to the platform in the middle of the map and speak to Guardian Captain (Located at 237, 138). He will thank you for helping capturing the criminals

• Fame +

• Option 2: Go to Umbala and help commit the robbery

• Go to umbala and head to the center of the map, on the floor. Speak to Cloaked Man (Located at 131, 165). Choose the options to steal the gems, and a battle will take place. You will be too late to take the gems, but will earn your reward.

• Infamy +

1. Talk to the Journalist in prontera until you receive news about the lutie orphanage. You must have completed fame quests before this to receive the mission

2. Go to lutie and head a little East then North. Speak to the Little Girl (Located at 170, 161). She will give you one of the following options

• Option 1 - Help keep her orphanage from closing down

Help her by paying 10,000,000[Loki], 2,000,000 [Loki] Zeny. After you pay the zeny, you gain a reward:

• Fame +

• Option 2 - Help gather items to feed hungry orphans.

Bring her the following items:

After bringing her the items, you gain another reward:

3. Repeat the steps until she will not ask for any more help. Sometimes she will ask for the zeny donation, other times she will ask for the items.

1. Speak to the Journalist until she gives you this quest. It can only be accessed after you finished the other missions for Fame.

2. Go to Odin Shrine F3. Head to the northeast corner of the map and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 304, 320). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 100 [Loki] / 10 [Loki] Aloe
• 5,000,000 Zeny

3. After you return with the items, he will tell you “The warmth illuminates”. You must now head to Beach Dungeon.

4. Go to Beach Dungeon F1, and walk to the southwest corner of the map. Speak to Wise Man (Located at 28, 67). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 5 Matchstick
• 5,000,000 Zeny

4. After you return with the items, he will tell you “Deep within the bowels”. You must now head to Alberta Island.

5. Go to Sunken Ship F1, and head outside to the island. Walk to the southern point on the island and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 86, 44). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 20 [Loki] / 10 [Loki] Four Leaf Clover
• 5,000,000 Zeny

6. After you return with the items, he will tell you “The birds and lizards want for naught”. You must now head to Oz Gorge.

7. Go to Rachel Field 04 by going to rachel and heading one map east and two maps north. Walk to the bottom corner (lower mid area of the map) and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 123, 83). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 35,000,000 Zeny

8. After you return with the zeny, he will tell you “The Genie rules them all”. You must now head to Thors Volcano.

9. Warp to Thors Volcano F3. Walk to the southwest corner of the map and speak to the Dying Man (Located at 58, 31). He will ask you to bring him the following so that he may rest in peace:

• 1 Valkyrie Shield [1]

10. After you return with the item, he will take it. Speak to him one last time and you will receive a reward.

• Valhalla's Shield
• Massive Fame +

This quest marks the end of Tier 2 for Fame.

1. Talk to the Journalist in prontera until you receive the mission.

2. Head to morroc and walk to the bottom left corner of the map, and speak to Shady Fellow, (Located at 47, 59).

3. He will tell you about this person who needs “taken care of”. He requests that you bring him some items to prove yourself first: 1 Poison Bottle. He will not take the item, you just need to have one.

4. After you bring him that to prove yourself, he will give you the real list of items that he needs:

• 25 Poison Bottles
• 50 Poison Spores
• 20 Poisonous Powders
• 20 Sticky Poisons
• 1 Empty Test Tube

• 75 Poison Bottles
• 100 Poison Spores
• 100 Poisonous Powders
• 50 Sticky Poisons
• 1 Empty Test Tube

5. Bring him back the items and get your reward:

• Infamy +

(Note: there is a possibility of failure)

6. Repeat this until he no longer asks for your help.

1. Speak to the Journalist until she gives you this quest. It can only be accessed after you finished the other missions for Infamy.

2. Go to Odin Shrine F3. Head to the northeast corner of the map and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 304, 320). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 100 Aloe
• 5,000,000 Zeny

3. After you return with the items, he will tell you “The warmth illuminates”. You must now head to Beach Dungeon.

4. Go to Beach Dungeon F1, and walk to the southwest corner of the map. Speak to Wise Man (Located at 28, 67). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 5 Matchstick
• 5,000,000 Zeny

4. After you return with the items, he will tell you “Deep within the bowels”. You must now head to Alberta Island.

5. Go to Sunken Ship F1, and head outside to the island. Walk to the southern point on the island and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 86, 44). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 20 Four Leaf Clover
• 5,000,000 Zeny

6. After you return with the items, he will tell you “The birds and lizards want for naught”. You must now head to Oz Gorge.

7. Go to Rachel Field 04 by going to rachel and heading one map east and two maps north. Walk west and speak to the Wise Man (Located at 123, 89). He will ask you to bring him the following to receive a clue to a legendary treasure:

• 35,000,000 Zeny

8. After you return with the zeny, he will tell you “The Genie rules them all”. You must now head to Thors Volcano.

9. Warp to Thors Volcano F3. Walk to the southwest corner of the map and speak to the Dying Man (Located at 58, 31). You will see the shield and decide to attack him and kick him aside to take the shield. You then receive your reward. Speak to him one last time and you will receive a reward.
