1. Go to Gonryun and enter the house (Located at 112, 132). Inside, head upstairs and talk to the Chief, Shi Yan Wen. He will introduce himself and he will talk about the recent incidents with thieves.
2. Head to the tavern (Located at 212, 115) and talk to the Hostess, Mei Yen Fang, about the recent theft. She will mention that the Chief's house was robbed.
3. Return to the Chief and ask him about the stolen goods and offer to help him out. Go back to the Hostess and she will tell you about someone who witnessed the robbery.
4. Inside the tavern, talk to the Man in hangover, Xue Bong, and he will ask for a potion to ease his headache. Bring him a:
Green Potion
Once you bring him the potion, he will tell you that the thief was headed for the shrine.
5. Return to the Chief and tell him about the clue. He will thank you for your efforts so far and rewards you with:

6. Go to Arcadia and examine the Strange Dead Body (Located at 61, 219). Take a look at the paper and you will discover an old faded writing that was written on blood. After reading what it had to say, you must find the broken sword pieces strewn throughout the dungeon.

7. Once you have all 3 pieces of the Broken Sword, return to the Chief and he will reward you with:
1 Old Blue Box
- Note: At this point, players must have completed the Dropped Knife Quest in order to continue.
8. The Chief will ask for your help to find information on repairing the sword. Talk to a Stranger, Zuo Hei (Located at 100, 241) and he will tell you about a man in Geffen who can help you repair the sword.
9. Go to Geffen and enter the Inn (Located at 170, 171). Head straight and enter the north room. Talk to the Blacksmith. Aumgarl and tell him "I'm here to repair a sword". He will then tell you that he is busy. Keep on talking to him until he tells you about his sick granddaughter.
10. Go to Prontera and talk to a Young Man, Neil (Located at 275, 86). He will tell you that he was sick before and no one knew what was wrong with him until a doctor from Juno came to help him.
11. Go to Yuno and talk to the Active Little Girl, Hisa (Located at 208, 164). She will tell you that the famous doctor, Cylrnel, has returned.
12. Go to a house (Located at 246, 143) and try to talk to the Doctor, Cylrnel. Keep trying until she lets you talk to her. Keep telling her that she is beautiful and she will start to have another conversation with you. Keep asking for her favor until she agrees to help you cure Aumgarl's granddaughter. She will ask to go back and find the exact symptoms.
13. Return to Geffen and enter the Geffen Inn and examine the Girl, Lyroo in the room upstairs from the Blacksmith's room.
14. Head back to the Doctor and answer her questions. Here are the answers to her questions:
- Turns hot and cold repeatedly
- No sweating at all
- Becomes paralyzed often
- Heart beats irregularly
15. Once you have confirmed the symptoms, she will tell you the items you need to gather:
2 Yggdrasil Seed 3 Aloe 1 Witherless Rose 10 Witch Starsand 5 Burning Heart 5 Ice Cubic
Once you have all the items, she will hand you an Aloevera.
16. Return to the Kid on the Geffen Inn and give her the medicine. Talk to the Blacksmith and he will thank you for helping his granddaughter. Ask him to repair the sword and he will tell you to gather the materials for him:
- 1 Type of Anvil
5 Broken Sword 2 Rough Oridecon 2 Steel 1 Hammer of Blacksmith 2 Star Crumb 5 Live Coal
Once you have all the items, he will hand you a Haedonggun [1].
17. Return the sword to the Chief and you will receive:
Boots [1] or Shoes [1]
